VIDEO: What’s Inside the Mercedes EQ

The EQ brand is Mercedes answer to BMW I, their umbrella for a new range of electric cars. The first being an SUV to rival the Tesla Model X set to arrive in 2019.

The Concept EQ concept debuted in Paris in October 2016 and represents the future for Mercedes. Sitting on a modular platform that will spawn an array of new all electric models including a smaller EQA model that we saw in Frankfurt earlier this year.

YouTuber and Model X driver, Dan Markham of What’s Inside took a brief tour and ride in the car during its filming in Portugal.

The concept offers a range of up to 310miles and the typical Mercedes-Benz strengths of safety, comfort, functionality and connectivity.

Mercedes describes “Concept EQ” as:

meeting every demand in terms of contemporary, sustainable mobility. Also on the inside, the vehicle offers innovative solutions, including a completely new interior concept.
