Post NL adds electric vans to delivery fleet

PostNL, the Dutch national postal and parcel delivery service joins DPD, TNT and Slovak Post by adding Voltia’s zero emission all-electric delivery vans to achieve its goal of completely decarbonizing its operations.

After a successful pilot period, PostNL is now employing three Voltia zero emission vehicles; an all-electric 3,5 ton Citroen Jumper and two Nissan eNV200 Maxis.

Manolo de la Fuente, Benelux Regional Manager of Voltia commented:

“We are very pleased that PostNL has chosen us as its partner.  PostNL has a serious commitment to a more sustainable approach, including emissions free delivery, and we are honored that after seeing what we can do they have chosen us to help them achieve this important goal. We look forward to helping them deliver mail and parcels in a cleaner manner.”

Voltia supplies its electric vehicles as a service to delivery and logistics companies which want to switch their fleets to electric. By retaining ownership of the vehicles and leasing them, along with all necessary support services, Voltia makes it possible for companies to begin switching their fleet to electric immediately and seamlessly, with no large expenditure or risk.
