The Mr Porter Edition – a tailored BMW i3

If exclusivity is something you desire, the highly limited Mr Porter Edition of BMW‘s much loved i3 might just be for you.

To celebrate the Saville Row tailors 5th anniversary, Mr Porter did a little bit of tailoring on BMW‘s city slicker to create something of a city gent with a paint finish inspired by a dinner jacket or tuxedo if you will.

Currently the only place to see this model is at BMW’s flagship dealership, Park Lane in Central London.  Thanks to a contact on-site we can bring you these exclusive shots of the car in situ awaiting it’s lucky purchaser.

Externally the most obvious difference is the exclusive deep ‘Tuxedo Blue’ Metallic paint finish. This is topped off with Caparris White highlights and a hand drawn pin-stripe running down the car leading to a Mr Porter inscription on the front wings.

Inside you will find the dark brown, olive leaf tanned leather trim taken from the i3 ‘Suite’ interior upgrade, then add a dark oak dash with another Mr Porter inscription and some natty leather trimmed carpets with white stitching and you have something pretty special.

The standard Mr Porter car is loaded with extras and comes with 20″ alloys, Professional media package, Sunroof, Park assist, LED headlights, Harmon Kardon Sound, Sun protection glass, DC Rapid charging, Enhanced Bluetooth and the eDrive exterior sound.

The lucky Mr Porter Edition owner will also receive a London Undercover Umbrella, Cutler and Gross sunglasses, a special edition Leica camera, a Lock and Co bowler hat, a leather BMW i Weekender holdall and bespoke edition of the Phaidon City Guide Books.

Is this all enough to tempt you to go electric?

If so it will be done in serious style, rarity and at a price. The Mr Porter Edition can be yours for £39,000.
