EVs create a buzz at The Regent Street Motor Show, London

The latest ultra low emission vehicles created a stir as part of the eclectic mix of cars on show at the Regent Street Motorshow.  The “Mile of Style” gave the public the chance to come along and learn more about electric motoring.

The display was backed by two organisations helping to change perceptions of electric vehicles  – The Government funded Go Ultra Low campaign and Transport for London bringing together key manufacturers. The Go Ultra Low team were on hand all day to answer any questions and to provide advice on charging electric vehicles at home and when on the road.

Visitors were also given the opportunity to test drive some of the cars on a nearby street circuit, with the Renault Twizy gaining some younger fans.

Cars on show included the new Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV and Toyota’s hydrogen-powered Mirai, with the eye-catching BMW i3 and i8 along side Nissan LEAF, Renault ZOE and Toyota Prius Plug-in.

The Regent Street Motorshow took place on Sunday, 31st October 2015.
